Wayne Bailey

As of October 2024, Wayne Bailey, who had been the proprietor and winemaker at Youngberg Hill, departed to pursue new opportunities. During his tenure, Wayne emphasized sustainable and organic farming practices, ensuring that the wines authentically represented the vineyard's unique terroir. His minimalist approach in the cellar allowed the natural characteristics of each grape variety to shine. Currently, Youngberg Hill is under the ownership and operation of Nicolette Bailey, who continues to uphold the estate's commitment to producing high-quality, terroir-driven wines with a focus on sustainability and excellence.
