Zac Childers

Winemaker Zac Childers brings a wealth of international experience and a passion for terroir-driven wines to Stuhlmuller Vineyards. Originally from Virginia, Zac's winemaking journey led him across the globe, including notable stints in Australia and New Zealand. He joined Stuhlmuller as a harvest intern in 2011, later advancing to Assistant Winemaker, and was appointed Winemaker in November 2019. Zac's approach emphasizes balance and concentration, working closely with the vineyard team to ensure each grape reflects the unique characteristics of the estate's diverse soils. His commitment to sustainable practices and meticulous attention to detail result in wines that authentically express the essence of Alexander Valley.
