Ronaldo Herrera
Winemaker Rolando Herrera's journey began in the Mexican state of Michoacán. At 15, he moved to California and started as a dishwasher at Auberge du Soleil in Napa. His career in winemaking commenced when he built a stone wall for Warren Winiarski, founder of Stag's Leap Wine Cellars, who offered him a harvest position. Over a decade at Stag's Leap, Rolando advanced to Cellar Master. He further honed his skills at Château Potelle and Vine Cliff Winery before becoming Director of Winemaking at Paul Hobbs Consulting in 2001. In 2004, Rolando dedicated himself fully to his own label, Mi Sueño Winery. Introduced to Rich Aurilia and Dave Roberts in 2007, Rolando became an integral part of the Red Stitch team, bringing his extensive expertise and passion to their winemaking endeavors.
