Kevin Morrissey

Kevin Morrisey, a former NYU film student, spent a decade in show business before shifting to winemaking. While at UC Davis, he secured a 1997 harvest internship at Château Pétrus in Bordeaux, later refining his craft under Napa legend Tony Soter of Etude Winery. Morrisey became captivated by mountain-grown Cabernet Sauvignon, drawn to Napa’s diverse terroir. “These hills are magic,” he notes, fascinated by the ever-changing soil and sun exposure. Though the fruit is tannin-rich and challenging, he embraces its intensity, crafting wines that reflect the rugged beauty of Napa’s peaks.
