Co-founder and winemaker of Alma Sol Winery, brings passion and precision to every step of the winemaking process. With a strong technical background and deep respect for the craft, he oversees everything from vineyard management to small-lot fermentation. Focused on Bordeaux-style wines, especially Cabernet Sauvignon, John uses hand-picked grapes and artisanal techniques to highlight the natural character of the fruit. Together with his wife, Lisa Cuevas Shaw, he ensures each bottle reflects their commitment to quality, authenticity, and the soulful essence of Paso Robles.
