Villa de Mare Sangiovese Emilia Romagna Italy 2022

It's Thursday. The cupboard is bare. But then you manage to rustle up some pasta and open a bottle of Villa de Mare and suddenly life is kinda ok. Not all wine has to be complicated - but I wish it was all as deliciously easy to drink as this.

Tasting Notes: This wine presents aromas of ripe cherry, red plum, and cranberry, complemented by subtle hints of earth and spice. On the palate, it is light-bodied with smooth tannins, bright acidity, and a refreshing, fruit-forward finish.

Pair with: Prosciutto, Margherita Pizza, Grilled Lamb
