Marimar Torres

Marimar Torres, born in 1945 in Barcelona, Spain, is a pioneering winemaker who brought her family's winemaking heritage to California. As the third child and only daughter of Don Miguel and Doña Margarita Torres, she grew up immersed in the world of wine. In 1975, she moved to California to promote Torres wines and later established Marimar Estate in Sonoma County. Her daughter, Cristina Torres, joined the winery in 2020 as General Manager, continuing the family's legacy. Cristina, a Princeton University graduate, brings a modern approach to the winery, focusing on sustainability and innovation.
