Ghislaine and Stéphane Dupeuble

The sibling duo behind Domaine Dupeuble Père et Fils, represent the latest generation in a lineage of vintners dating back to 1512. With deep-rooted respect for their heritage, they practice lutte raisonnée, ensuring the health of their 42-hectare vineyard without synthetic chemicals. Their winemaking philosophy centers on minimal intervention, utilizing natural fermentation with indigenous yeasts and aging in cement and stainless steel to preserve the purity of the Gamay grape. By bottling their wines unfined and unfiltered, Ghislaine and Stéphane deliver genuine expressions of the Beaujolais terroir, earning acclaim for their dedication to quality and tradition.

Beaujolais-Burgundy, France

The Beaujolais wine region, located in eastern France between Burgundy and Lyon, is renowned for its Gamay-based wines that range from light and fruity to complex and age-worthy. The region’s granite and schist soils, combined with a semi-continental climate, create ideal conditions for vibrant, terroir-driven wines. Beaujolais is divided into three key appellations—Beaujolais AOC, Beaujolais-Villages AOC, and the prestigious Beaujolais Crus, which include renowned names like Morgon, Fleurie, and Brouilly. Traditional semi-carbonic maceration enhances the fresh, aromatic quality of its wines, making Beaujolais a dynamic and diverse wine region celebrated for both easy-drinking Nouveau and structured, cellar-worthy crus.
