Stephen Cruzan
Stephen Cruzan joined Titus Vineyards as Winemaker in August 2015. A graduate of North Carolina State University with a BS in Biochemistry, in 2004 he had planned on a life in research. While working at a restaurant in North Carolina in 2005, a chance meeting with a winemaker from Sonoma resulted in a light bulb moment that led him to the Napa Valley. Winemaking was the perfect opportunity to couple a life-long love of fine wine and the technical sciences of his degree. Stephen got his start in the winemaking lab at Kathryn Hall Vineyards in St. Helena. Two years later he worked harvests at Sacred Hill in New Zealand, Domaine d’Ardhui in Burgundy and Clemens Busch in Germany’s Mosel River Valley. In 2009, he joined the team at Chappellet Winery under Phillip and Eric Titus.

North Coast
The North Coast of California is the crown jewel of American winemaking, renowned for producing some of the world's most prestigious and sought-after wines. Home to legendary wine regions such as Napa Valley, Sonoma County, Mendocino, and Lake County, this area is defined by its diverse terroir, coastal influences, and generations of winemaking expertise. With its rolling vineyards, cool maritime breezes, and rich soil, the North Coast offers the perfect conditions for cultivating world-class Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Zinfandel. From the bold, structured reds of Napa Valley to the elegant, cool-climate wines of Sonoma and Mendocino, this region embodies the very essence of California wine culture. When people think of California wine country, they picture the scenic landscapes and historic vineyards of the North Coast—a place where tradition meets innovation, and every bottle tells a story of craftsmanship and excellence.
