Weingut Schwarz is a family-owned winery located in Schrattenberg, one of Austria's oldest and most esteemed red wine-producing towns. The estate, now certified organic, has been cultivating vineyards for generations, focusing primarily on high-quality red wines. In addition to their renowned reds, they also produce fine white and elegant dessert wines. The foundation of their wine quality is established in the vineyard through meticulous practices such as pruning, leaf management, thinning of excess grapes, and precise timing of the harvest. In the cellar, they combine modern technology with traditional vinification methods to preserve the integrity of the harvested grapes. Depending on the wine type, maturation occurs in stainless steel tanks, large wooden barrels, or small oak barrels, ensuring each wine develops its unique character before bottling. ​
