Valle de la Puerta

Valle de la Puerta Wine Collection

Valle de la Puerta is nestled in Argentina's Famatina Valley, positioned between the Famatina and Velasco mountain ranges, offshoots of the Andes. This location provides a stunning visual backdrop and well-drained topsoil ideal for viticulture. The estate encompasses 150 hectares of vineyards and 770 hectares of olive groves, benefiting from a unique microclimate characterized by hot, dry days and cool nights. This diurnal temperature variation is crucial for the development of grapes with balanced acidity and concentrated flavors. The winery is equipped with modern facilities, including stainless steel tanks and advanced temperature control systems, ensuring the production of high-quality wines. Valle de la Puerta honors the cultural heritage of the indigenous Diaguita people by incorporating their symbols, such as the Condor and the Puma, into their branding, reflecting a deep respect for the region's history and traditions.
