Strey Cellars

Strey Cellars is a family-owned and operated winery and tasting room located at 951 N. Rice Ave, Oxnard, California. Established in February 2014 by Scott and Katie Ballew, the winery aims to "Stray From The Norm" by offering a fresh and modern wine-tasting experience.

Strey Cellars produces a variety of award-winning wines, including sparkling whites, rosés, reds, and dessert wines. Their meticulous attention to detail ensures that each bottle offers a distinctive taste. Visitors can enjoy wines by the tasting, glass, or bottle in a welcoming atmosphere. 

The winery hosts a range of public events, such as live music performances, crafting workshops, and food truck gatherings. For example, on January 18, 2025, they are featuring "S.A.T.U.R.D.A.Y. NIGHT - CLASSIC ROCK" with the band Barfly performing live from 7-10 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to pack a picnic or order from Grubhub. 

The tasting room features 18-foot ceilings, cinder block walls, stone accents, and concrete counters, creating a modern yet warm environment. The adjacent barrel room serves as a versatile space for live music events and can accommodate up to 100 guests for private functions such as weddings, receptions, and corporate events.
