Soquel Vineyards is a family-owned and operated winery nestled in the Santa Cruz Mountains. The winery is dedicated to producing exceptional wines that reflect the unique terroir of the region. Specializing in Pinot Noir, Soquel Vineyards sources grapes from esteemed vineyards such as Saveria, Sunny Knoll Ranch, Pleasant Valley Farms, and Coast Grade, each contributing distinct characteristics to their wines. The estate vineyard, meticulously farmed by Jon Morgan, spans three acres and is planted with four clones of Pinot Noir: Mount Eden, Dijon 777, 667, and 115. Emphasizing sustainable and organic practices, the vineyard is dry-farmed and utilizes natural fertilizers. Soquel Vineyards' commitment to quality has earned them numerous accolades, including Best of Class and Double Gold medals at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. Visitors to the winery can enjoy panoramic views of the Soquel hillside and Monterey Bay while savoring a curated flight of current vintage wines. The tasting room is open on weekends, offering an inviting atmosphere to experience the winery's diverse portfolio.
