Scotto Cellars is a distinguished, family-owned winery with a rich heritage spanning five generations. The family's winemaking journey began in 1883 on the Italian island of Ischia, where Great-Great-Grandfather Salvatore Dominic Scotto crafted wines for family and friends. In 1903, the tradition was carried to Brooklyn, New York, by Dominic Scotto, who continued the family's passion by selling homemade wines from a horse-drawn cart. The legacy progressed with the establishment of D. Scotto Wines in 1933, offering quality wines from around the world. In 1963, the family expanded to California, marking their first harvest in the Golden State. Today, siblings Anthony, Paul, Michael, and Natalie Scotto uphold this enduring tradition, producing a diverse portfolio of award-winning wines. Their offerings include varietals such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Malbec, and Old Vine Zinfandel, sourced primarily from the Lodi appellation, renowned for its Mediterranean climate and sustainable viticulture practices. The Scotto family's commitment to quality and innovation is evident in their handcrafted wines, reflecting both their Italian heritage and the rich terroir of California's wine country.
