Pruett Vineyard

The Pruett Vineyards in Sierra Foot Hills

Pruett Vineyard is a distinguished family-owned estate nestled in the Northern Sierra Foothills of California. Established in 2006 by renowned race car driver Scott Pruett and his wife Judy. The vineyard spans a remote eastern slope where the unique combination of fractured rock and red clay soil, gentle contours, and an ideal microclimate creates the perfect terroir for cultivating Alban and 470 clone Syrah and 337 Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. From its inaugural release, Pruett Vineyard has garnered acclaim, producing some of the most highly celebrated wines in the region. Their handcrafted, small-lot wines are known for their aromatic complexity and expressive character, consistently earning impressive ratings from Wine Spectator, including scores ranging from 93 to 96 points. The vineyard's commitment to quality is evident in offerings like the Championship Cuvee, Taylor's Reserve Syrah, CSP Estate Syrah, and Lucky Lauren Red. Despite its growing reputation, Pruett Vineyard remains dedicated to its boutique approach, focusing on meticulous vineyard management and artisanal winemaking techniques to produce wines that truly reflect the distinctiveness of their estate.
