Schramsberg Vineyards is a historic winery located in Calistoga, Napa Valley, California. Founded in 1862 by German immigrant Jacob Schram, the winery was the second bonded winery in Napa Valley. Schram constructed a network of underground caves in the 1870s, which are still in use today for aging sparkling wines. After a period of inactivity, the winery was revived in 1965 by Jack and Jamie Davies, who introduced traditional-method sparkling wine production to the estate. Today, Schramsberg is managed by Hugh Davies, the youngest son of Jack and Jamie Davies.
