Rhone Wolf is a California-based winery that offers modern interpretations of Rhône-inspired wines, drawing inspiration from the traditional winemaking practices of France's Rhône Valley. Situated in El Dorado, the birthplace of the Rhône Rangers wine movement, It explores the potential of Rhône varietals from the Sierra Foothills, introducing them to a new audience.
The Rhone Wolf wine is part of the Myka Estates family of brands, which also includes 1850 Wine Cellars and Fringe Wines where it's tasting room is located in Placerville, CA.
The winemaking team is led by Mica Raas, the founder of Myka Estates, and Brian Darwazeh. Mica Raas established Myka Estates in 2009, focusing on cool-climate varietals from the Monterey Bay area before expanding to the diverse microclimates of the Sierra Foothills.
