Norris Wines is a family-owned estate winery dedicated to crafting site-specific Oregon Pinot Noir and Riesling within the esteemed Ribbon Ridge AVA of the Willamette Valley. The Norris McKinley Vineyard, established in 2007, serves as the exclusive source for their wines. This vineyard encompasses approximately 10 acres of Pinot Noir, featuring clones such as Coury, Wädenswil, Dijon 667, 115, and Pommard, along with about 2 acres of Riesling, planted with Clone 9 Geisenheim and Clone 12 Neustadt. The unirrigated vines delve deep into the well-drained ancient marine sedimentary soils, benefiting from six distinct types of the renowned Willakenzie soil series. The west-southwest facing slope toward Chehalem Creek provides ample afternoon sunlight and cool maritime evening breezes, fostering extended hang time for the grapes.Â
