Housley's Century Oak Winery is a family-owned and operated winery located in Acampo, California, within the Mokelumne River AVA of the Lodi wine region. The Housley family has deep agricultural roots in Northern California, with over seven generations of farming experience. Their vineyard operations date back more than four decades, focusing on premium grape cultivation in Lodi and Napa Valley. Spanning 37 acres in Acampo, thrives in the region’s signature sandy loam soils, ideal for Cabernet Sauvignon, Old Vine Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, and other varietals. These soils, coupled with the Mediterranean climate and the cooling breezes from the nearby Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta, provide optimal conditions for grape ripening and flavor development. Housley's Century Oak Winery is dedicated to small-batch, handcrafted winemaking, producing high-quality wines at accessible prices. The winery has earned over 275 medals in prestigious wine competitions, with several wines receiving 96, 95, 94, 92, and 91-point scores. Every bottle is estate-crushed, aged, and bottled on-site, ensuring full control over the winemaking process. The winery specializes in French oak barrel aging for up to two years, enhancing the structure and complexity of their red wines. Meanwhile, their Rosé and Chardonnay are fermented in stainless steel, preserving fresh fruit flavors and crisp acidity without oak influence.
