Gramercy Cellars, established in 2005 by Master Sommelier Greg Harrington and his wife Pam, is a boutique winery located in Walla Walla, Washington. The winery specializes in crafting Rhône and Bordeaux varietals, emphasizing a minimalist approach to winemaking to highlight the unique terroir of Washington State.
Inspired by the potential of Washington's wine regions, Greg Harrington transitioned from a distinguished career as a sommelier to winemaking. Gramercy Cellars focuses on producing wines that are balanced, earthy, and elegant. The winery employs techniques such as native fermentations, whole cluster inclusion, and minimal use of new oak to preserve the authenticity of the fruit and its origins.
The estate comprises three vineyards, with additional partnerships across the Columbia Valley. This diverse sourcing allows Gramercy to select grapes that align with their vision of creating wines that are both expressive and restrained. Their portfolio includes Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Mourvèdre, and other Rhône-style blends, all crafted to complement food and offer a genuine sense of place.
