Tasting Notes: Concentrated blackcurrant, blackberry and cassis meet graphite, cedar and cocoa. Volcanic-mineral undertones, dried sage and violet lift the nose. The palate is dense and polished, with ripe fruit framed by firm, powdery tannins and a long, savory, lava-rock, lingering finish.

You'll travel around Howell Mountain and through Pope Valley. It's the precursor to Lake County's laid-back and rustic atmosphere.  Sure it takes a bit longer to get there, but the journey just makes the wine taste that much better.
