Fulcrum Wines
Fulcrum Wines, established in 2005 by winemaker David Rossi, is dedicated to crafting balanced, complex, and age-worthy wines. The name "Fulcrum" symbolizes the winery's commitment to achieving harmony in every bottle, reflecting Rossi's philosophy that a wine should offer a seamless combination of fruit expression, acidity, tannin, alcohol, oak influence, and age-worthiness.
The winery focuses on producing a small portfolio of vineyard- and appellation-designated wines using grapes from acclaimed sites in California's Anderson Valley, Russian River Valley, Sonoma Coast, Carneros, and Chalone appellations. While initially Pinot Noir-centric, Fulcrum has expanded its offerings to include other varietals, all crafted with the same dedication to balance and quality.
Fulcrum Wines offers a range of current releases, including the 2023 On Point Pinot Noir Winemaker's Selection, described as having a deep crimson color with notes of graham cracker, cherry, and earth on the nose, and flavors of black cherry, forest floor, and spice extending to a long finish.
