Familia Furlotti

Signature Wine inside the Tasting Room

Familia Furlotti is a historic winery located in Mendoza, Argentina, with roots tracing back to 1888 when Ángel Furlotti emigrated from Fontanellato, Italy, to Argentina. Ángel's profound knowledge of soils and viticulture led him to establish top-quality vineyards across the Mendoza region, earning him the title "King of the Vineyards." In 1914, he founded Bodega Furlotti in Maipú, which, by the 1960s, expanded to ten estates encompassing over 2,000 hectares of vines and olive groves.

The winemaking at Familia Furlotti is a collaborative effort led by Gabriela Furlotti and renowned local winemaker Carmelo Patti. Together, they craft rustic, unfiltered Malbecs that embody the family's legacy and the unique terroir of Mendoza. Their approach emphasizes minimal intervention, allowing the wines to express the true identity of the land.

While specific images of the winery and tasting room are not readily available, Finca Adalgisa, the boutique hotel established by Gabriela, offers a glimpse into the family's commitment to hospitality and winemaking. The hotel is set amidst the vineyards, providing guests with an intimate experience of Mendoza's wine country.
