Di Arie Vineyard & Winery is a family-owned estate dedicated to crafting premium wines that embody the region's rich terroir. Established in 2000 by Chaim and Elisheva Gur-Arieh, the winery spans 209 acres of rolling vineyards planted with 11 distinct varietals. The centerpiece is a 12,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility ingeniously designed on two plateaus to utilize gravity flow during the winemaking process. Chaim's innovative spirit led to the creation of 11 dual-compartment submerged cap fermentation tanks, each accommodating up to 8 tons of grapes, ensuring optimal extraction of flavors and aromas. Di Arie is renowned for its commitment to producing elegant, balanced wines with forward fruit profiles and sustained finishes. The estate's portfolio showcases varietals such as Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Barbera, each reflecting the unique characteristics of the Sierra Foothills AVA. Visitors are welcomed to the tasting room in Plymouth, where they can savor these exceptional wines amidst the serene beauty of the vineyards, often accompanied by live music on weekends.
