De Stefani Winery, a family-owned estate with a winemaking heritage spanning five generations, is situated in the Veneto region of northeastern Italy. Established in the late 1800s, the winery has consistently prioritized excellence and authenticity in its wine production. The estate encompasses vineyards in Refrontolo, between the renowned Prosecco towns of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, as well as in Fossalta di Piave and Monastier. These locations benefit from a unique microclimate influenced by the Adriatic Sea and the Dolomite Mountains, along with fertile clay soils rich in minerals, providing ideal conditions for cultivating both indigenous and international grape varieties. De Stefani is particularly acclaimed for its dedication to native grapes such as Raboso Piave, from which they craft the esteemed Malanotte del Piave DOCG wine. Embracing a natural winemaking philosophy, the winery employs sustainable practices, high-density planting of old vines, and minimal intervention in the cellar to produce wines that authentically express the terroir. Under the guidance of fourth-generation winemaker Alessandro De Stefani and his wife Chiara, the winery continues to garner international recognition for its exceptional Venetian wines.
