Château Hostens-Picant is nestled in the Sainte-Foy Côtes de Bordeaux appellation, approximately 25 km east of Saint-Émilion.The estate spans 42 hectares, with 30 hectares dedicated to red grape varieties—primarily Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon—and 10 hectares to white varieties, including Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon, Sauvignon Gris, and Muscadelle. The vineyards benefit from diverse soils comprising clay-limestone and flint, contributing to the wines' complexity and minerality. The winery emphasizes sustainable viticulture, initiating organic farming trials in 2017 and expanding them in subsequent years. Their meticulous approach in the vineyard and cellar has led to the production of wines that are both powerful and elegant, gaining recognition in esteemed restaurants and wine shops globally. Notable wines include the flagship red, Cuvée d’Exception Lucullus, and the refined white, Cuvée des Demoiselles.
