Carlo and Dante Mondavi
The visionary brothers behind RAEN Winery, hail from a storied lineage of vintners, being the grandsons of the legendary Robert Mondavi. Growing up immersed in the rich traditions of Napa Valley winemaking, they gained invaluable experience working alongside their father, Tim Mondavi, at Continuum Estate. Driven by a passion to explore the cool-climate viticulture, they ventured to the Sonoma Coast to establish RAEN in 2013. Their approach marries time-honored techniques with innovative practices, emphasizing organic farming, whole-cluster fermentation, and the use of neutral oak to create wines that are both expressive and balanced. Through RAEN, Carlo and Dante continue their family's legacy, crafting wines that honor the land and showcase the unique terroir of the Sonoma Coast.
