Terra Valentine Winery
Terra Valentine is a distinguished winery nestled in Napa Valley's Spring Mountain District. The Wurteles began their venture by acquiring a producing vineyard, later named the Wurtele Vineyard, and subsequently established their operations at the historic Yverdon Winery. In 1999, they enlisted the expertise of winemaker Sam Baxter and his father, Phil, to craft wines that embody the unique terroir of the region. Under Sam's guidance, Terra Valentine gained acclaim for its mountain-grown wines, particularly its Cabernet Sauvignon, which showcases the intensity and elegance characteristic of Spring Mountain fruit. In 2014, Sam and his wife, Angela, acquired the winery, continuing its legacy of producing wines that reflect a harmonious balance between robust mountain flavors and refined sophistication. The estate's commitment to sustainable viticulture and minimal intervention winemaking ensures that each bottle authentically represents the vineyard's distinct microclimate and soil composition.
