Sourcing fruit from esteemed sub-districts such as Oakville and Stags Leap District, Dolum crafts wines that exemplify power, elegance, and depth. Their meticulous selection process and traditional winemaking techniques, including maturation in French oak, result in complex, full-bodied Cabernets designed for long-term cellaring. A notable vineyard, planted in 1979 and tended by second and third-generation family members, contributes to their exceptional offerings. This vineyard, located on Oakville Crossroad in the eastern side of the AVA, consists of shallow, sandy loam soil over deep red clay and limestone, providing ideal conditions for Cabernet vines.
