Cornerstone Cellars began with a serendipitous purchase of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes by Dr. Michael Dragutsky. This initial venture blossomed into a boutique winery renowned for its commitment to crafting expressive, terroir-driven wines. Over the past three decades, Cornerstone has maintained its dedication to small-lot production, often releasing as few as 100 cases per wine, allowing for meticulous attention to detail and quality. Under the guidance of Winemaker and General Manager Kari Auringer, Cornerstone sources fruit from esteemed vineyards across Napa Valley, including Howell Mountain, Oakville, Rutherford, and Calistoga. The winery's portfolio showcases classic varietals such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, and Sauvignon Blanc, each reflecting the unique characteristics of their respective vineyards. Cornerstone's Tasting Salon, located in the heart of Yountville, offers an intimate setting for guests to experience their wines. The salon embodies the winery's philosophy of combining old-school Napa Valley charm with a welcoming Southern approach to hospitality, creating a space where visitors can savor wines that are both elegant and approachable.
