Teeter Totter Cabernet Sauvignon Barrel Select California 2021
Teeter Totter

Benoît Touquette is one of Napa’s modern masters. The 100-point winemaker was trained by Andy Erickson at Ovid and Screaming Eagle, and by Michel Rolland. His Teeter-Totter range is perhaps his most radical work. Using his unmatched network this bottling combines Cab from top vineyards across the State. It's been given the full Luxe treatment - 70% new oak elevage - almost unheard of at this price point. It's not for nothing Jeb Dunnuck writes that Teeter-Totter can “easily compete with wine that costs 3–4 times its going rate.” Grab a bottle and see for yourself!
Tasting Notes: Deep ruby in color, this Cabernet offers aromas of black currant, ripe plum, mocha, and dried herbs. The palate is full-bodied and layered with blackberry, vanilla, and cedar, balanced by refined tannins and lively acidity, finishing smooth and elegant.
