Benovia Winery

Benovia Winery Main Entry Way

Benovia Winery, established in 2005 by husband and wife team Joe Anderson and Mary Dewane, is a family-owned boutique winery nestled in Sonoma County's Russian River Valley. Specializing in small-lot, handcrafted Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Zinfandel, Benovia is dedicated to producing wines that authentically express the unique terroir of their estate vineyards. The winery farms three distinct estate vineyards: the historic Cohn Vineyard, planted in 1970; the Martaella Vineyard, surrounding the winery; and the Tilton Hill Vineyard, located near Freestone. Each vineyard is sustainably or organically farmed, reflecting Benovia's commitment to environmental stewardship. Co-owner and winemaker Mike Sullivan, a fifth-generation Californian, brings extensive experience to the cellar, crafting wines that balance depth, elegance, and a true sense of place. Benovia's limited-production wines are primarily available through direct allocation and select distribution, offering wine enthusiasts a taste of Sonoma County's finest expressions.
