2020 Testarossa Winery Chardonnay, Lone Oak Vyd, Santa Lucia Highlands

Tasting Notes: The wine has a medium yellow hue. Scents of apple, papaya, grapefruit, and apricot lead the initial profile of this Chardonnay. With time, elements of coconut, key lime pie, tangerine, and kiwi unite to offer a pleasing aroma. Once on the palate, these qualities segue to notes of grapefruit, orange, and stone fruits. There is a nice density and decadence to the texture while offering intricacy and brisk acidity. This wine finishes with subtle textures and lingering layers of flavor.
