David Ramey

Co-founder of Ramey Wine Cellars, is a pioneering American winemaker with a career spanning several decades. A graduate of UC Davis's enology program, Ramey honed his skills at renowned wineries such as Château Pétrus in Bordeaux and Matanzas Creek in California. His innovative approaches, including advocating for indigenous yeast fermentations and extended barrel aging, have significantly influenced modern Californian winemaking.
