Andrea di Maio

The co-founder and oenologist of Fattoria Kappa, brings extensive experience to the winery. Having previously worked at renowned estates such as Isole e Olena in Chianti and Antinori's Guado al Tasso in Bolgheri, Andrea possesses an intimate understanding of the region's viticultural potential. His winemaking philosophy centers on natural methods, allowing the character of the grapes and terroir to shine through without the use of additives or technological interventions. Andrea's dedication to sustainable practices and his meticulous approach in the cellar have been instrumental in establishing Fattoria Kappa's reputation for producing expressive and authentic wines.

The Maremma region, located in southwestern Tuscany along the Tyrrhenian coast, is renowned for its diverse landscapes, encompassing rolling hills, coastal plains, and rich biodiversity.
